Laser Therapy

Laser therapy, otherwise known as photobiomodulation, is a form of light therapy that is utilized to promote healing and decrease inflammation. There are two different ways we administered this therapy contact and no contact laser heads. Non contact laser heads are used for open areas of wounds and infections. Contact laser heads are used for deeper problems such as Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) tears, back injuries, and urinary tract inflammation. We offer a wide variety of services with the laser from ear infections to broken legs, and even post-surgical treatments to help your pet heal faster with less inflammation. We are excited to be able to offer laser therapy for our patients and have seen the changes it has made in their lives. Below you will find a video explaining how the therapy works, and a clients experience with her cat Boots.

Boot's painful steps to a happy and playful pet again.
Boot's came to our office in December 2025 with chronic pododermatitis and persistent ulcerations on his feet that the owner had been treating since March of 2025. One of the modalities Dr. Sally was able to incorporate was laser therapy. His comfort level and quality of life improved drastically as his ulcerations diminished. The owner reports he is once again playing!

Boots' owner shared her experience over the course of his treatment:
"His front pads were infected and he was in extreme pain. Came to Kingdom Veterinary for a second opinion on how to treat Boots. Dr. Sally suggested red light therapy. Within a month of three treatments a week, Boots' paw pads started to heal. By the second month of treatment, Dr. Sally reduced treatment to twice a week. Boots' paw pads have healed to where he is receiving only once a week treatment. I would recommend laser therapy."
